Our family ate at Gringo's last night and everything was WONDERFUL. The food was Awesome, our waitress was Awesome (our drink glasses never hit empty, she asked us numerous times if there was anything she could get for us) and Everyone made us feel soooo welcome!!! My African American girlfriend and I were traveling through Fremont. We were looking to a place to eat on Sunday afternoon. We found the Gringos Cantina. The Sunday special ($3.00) off the Chimichangas was available. The Salsa for the free chips at table service tasted garden fresh and had a sweet flavor. We liked the atmosphere it was dark and cozy and did not have the crazy bright colors or loud typical music blaring with the trumpets and "Aye Aye Aye" in the establishment. It was chill. The sea food Chimichanga was something like I've never experienced. It had a special white sauce that was so succulent. We shared an apple pie fried Ice cream that was as sweet as anything we've had the pleasure of tasting. The waitress was so attentive and nice. Gringos is a gem and we have planned to visit again. The salsa was so good. Thank You.
